Kehakuma 11th August with Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Nick Curly, Glimpse, Mathew Jonson, Tomas Muller, Simon Baker, Stefan Baumann, Ramon Castells & Subb-An at Space
With so many of Ibiza’s best parties at Space every summer, creating a unique vibe there cannot be easy. Kehakuma, Space’s most underground and under rated night not only has its own vibe, its deep atmosphere buzzing across each room is nothing short of breathtaking.

Based around a Japenese concept and aesthetic, Kehakuma keeps it simple and focuses on high quality. By combining established and renowned artists with the most exciting up-and-coming talent, Kehakuma ensure that only the finest house and techno beats are heard in their main room, the legendary Space terrace.
Ibiza’s residents and workers are a big part of Kehakuma’s success, and history shows that winning the support of this crowd means a bright future. It also means a long queue for the guestlist and a lot of clubbers arriving early. Kehakuma resident and Mannheim hero Nick Curly warmed up the terrace with his deep, stripped-back house and techno, creating a bubbling, ambient vibe. The crowd were clearly really enjoying this brilliant set, but there was also a sense of anticipation for the arrival of the night’s headliner, new-school Detroit legend Seth Troxler, playing back to back with his Visionquest comrade, Lee Curtiss. The start of their set saw Troxler’s energetic techno beats blend seamlessly with Curtiss’s ambient, deep grooves, but by the end even Troxler was pulling the deepest tracks out the bag. Unsurprisingly the crowd were loving every minute of it, leaving Glimpse to finish things off in style, his harder beats making sure nobody was going home early.
Meanwhile the Discoteca was hosted by Wet Yourself, whose residents did a good job of getting the dance floor pumping in preparation for Mathew Jonson. Making a rare Ibiza appearance, his live set was a mind-bending journey of dark techno beats and twisted breakdowns, expertly crafted together to make the dance floor move. Simply awesome.
As if that wasn’t enough, Subb-An held down the Red Box for most of the night, providing the big, groovy basslines that are setting dancefloors on fire this summer. Award for legend of the night however, goes to Space resident Ramon Castell’s. His flawless 4 hour tech-house set on the Sunset Terrace had a dancefloor of happy clubbers dancing all night long, despite some severe sound restrictions which would have led to many DJs giving up altogether.
Kehakuma is really establishing itself as one of the best nights in Ibiza in only its second year. It is surely going to keep growing and reach the next level, without losing its priceless underground vibe of course.
Underground, under rated, sure to kick off over the next few years.

[...] #2 Space, Ibiza Space certainly is no newcomer to the clubbing industry having 22 seasons below it’s belt. Founded in 1989, it has overtime grown into one of the biggest super clubs in the world and was for many years the icon of daylight parties. However, with the change of government regulations in 2009, forbidding daytime clubbing, a bigger focus was made on the nighttime events. The opening and the closing party of Space are the unofficial beginning and ending of the clubbing season in Ibiza. It has a special place in the heart of most clubbers and DJs who have been there and will without a doubt stay in the top 10 best clubs category for many years to come.Parties: BE, Café Ole, La Leche, Carl Cox Revolution, We Love, Kehakuma…. [...] Parties: BE, Café Ole, La Leche, Carl Cox Revolution, We Love, Kehakuma…. [...]
