Ibiza, Spain. – The first artists for the new Ibiza “rocktronic” 123 Festival have been announced. There are some heavyweight names for this 3 day festival, taking place from the 1st to 3rd of July 2012. The location is the bay of San Antonio on the West coast of the island of Ibiza, in the area of “ses Variades“ where also the world famous sunset locations as Cafe del Mar, Mambo and Savannah are based.

The line up of the 123 Festival is more than impressive: Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Tiesto, Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim, David Guetta, M83, Axwell, Wally Lopez, 2manyDJs.

The gigs will begin at noon and run until 00:30 in the morning.

Pacha, Amnesia, Space and Ushuaia will have their own VIP tents as well as after parties throught the three days of the festival.

The 123 Festival aims to fuse rock with electronic music. The former leader of The Police, Sting, and the New Yorker Lenny Kravitz are among the rock and pop stars, headlining together with DJs such as David Guetta, Fatboy Slim or Tiesto.

The organizers are preparing a festival arena for about 20,000 people and expecting a potential live audience of millions through radio and television. The festival has the support of literally all institutions and political parties of Ibiza, the Town Hall of San Antonio with the mayor Pepita Gutierrez, council members Jose Antonio Verdugo and Vicent Ribas, and of the Tourism Councillor, Carmen Ferrer.

There will be chill-out areas, a hippy market and all the usual festival concessions. Tickets are available for 65 euros for one single day and for 150 euros for the three days.
